The John Mark Solution comes from a sensitivity to the great need for encouraging professional Christians, such as Pastors, Clergy, Missionaries and other Christian Workers.  These often suffer from hidden inadequacies, pain and great distress without others being aware of or maybe even caring.  They are left alone because it is assumed that because of their position that they have it all together.  Unfortunately, this is not true and there is a crying need to help them.  Many of them would never admit this, because to do so is to admit to weakness and sometime despair.  The Armor Bearer Project is based on the truth, that if we are honest about what is happening, we are in a place to see what God can do about it.  Over 4000 pastors a year quit their pastorates in just one denomination, roughly 10 percent.

The story of John Mark is found in the book of Acts in the New Testament.  Paul and Barnabas had been sent on a mission to what is today Turkey.  Accompanying them was a young man, John Mark, who was along to help (Acts 12:25).

This is what The John Mark Project is all about.  The John Mark Project exists to help those struggling in the ministry and desiring to have someone to love them, listen to them and hold them accountable.  This is our mission and we want to help.
